Non-Americans, what are your thoughts on McDonald's? How is it in your country?

Here in America it's not even worth going anymore, Bidenflation has made fast food stupid expensive.

in aus it's just well. average fast food. decent enough but not the holy grail of all foods, i'd assume that's how it is most places unless i'm retarded

here it's still pretty popular as i always see cars at mcdrive and people inside, no matter the time. but personally i don't think it's worth going. it's crazy expensive for what you get.

here are some prices

large french fries 5.10 euro (without sauce)
big mac 7.35 euro
20 chicken nuggets 11.50 euro

The exchange students from the US I've met said the mcdonalds in my country are consistently better than US based ones. I only really go when I'm drunk or need to take a shit but if they are happy it's alright.

uk
wife is american so i post with comparisons she has made in mind
uk mcdonalds is less 'junk food' food than us, the ingredients quality is better, and at least last time i went there the prices were pretty low, £1 basic burger, £1.50 cheeseburger, £5 for 20 nuggets
i still don't eat there though because i don't really eat much fast food in the first place

My go-to order of a McChicken and an apple pie, or just a happy meal, is only $5. More than it used to be, but still a cheaper meal than anywhere else. Anywhere you go that won't refuse you, just order the kids meal. Like at the movie theater everyone gets their wallet raped, but for $7 you can get popcorn, soda, and fruit snacks. They won't sell you the fruit snacks separately either, so this is also a fruit snack hack.

Its very sad how literal trash food is now expensive and a thing that costs as much as you used to treat yourself with

Before the pandemic I could make a really nice meal for myself with what McDonalds costs now

Similar story here in leaf land. Not even close to worth it. I'll just wait and air fry a burger patty at home that's 100x better.
