the problem is probably your dishwasher, or more accurately, the dishwasher drain and filters being blocked by lack of maintenance.

clean up your fucking shit and then come back and complain.

I agree! Unfortunately being that I've been using this garbage I have been. Probably going to throw the rest out.

I keep my shit spotless faggot. I hate dirty surroundings. I am a pretty well functioning adult despite being mildly autistic. Even so that would only apply to the detergent simply not cleaning well. The issue is that it leaves a chemical powder crust on everything. It's disgusting. I have a newer dishwasher and water that isn't particularly hard. I have tried different amounts and wash Temps. Doesn't matter. It's bad all around.

make suire your rinse agent bin is filled up. Clean whatever trap is in the machine too.
Also, run your hot water tap until actually hot before beginning the dishwasher cycle. Your water heater might be not quite hot enough, as well.

I switched to the Costco brand pods, and I use only Cascade in the overflow cup for the first pre-rinse portion of the cycle. For now, your glassware has a film on it, so do a white vinegar load to clean them up and remove the residue frorm them, and the dishwasher.

I use the Cascade powder and it works fantastiically. You need to clean your dishwasher, I think. Check the fiilter or that removable metal thingy near the bottom where the water collects.

Yeah I have the same problem but it's been happening as long as I can remember, I wouldn't call it new or recent.
Tried hand washing for awhile but that blows when you have 2 kids because you're already handwashing a bunch of shit and it's nice to be able to throw the silverware in.
I've also tried different brands and cascade and finish are probably the worst, but they all leave that residue.

it can be hard water. The only true cure is a water filter/water softener.

>> No.20024283

try running a load with a dishwasher cleaner. apparently citric acid powder works as well and is cheaper. it breaks down and dissolves any mineral deposits that might be impeding the water coming out the sprayers.

Learn to read you braindead mongoloid. I not only clean out the drain catch regularly but I even pull off the sprayers and clean those out regularly too. My dishwasher is cleaner than yours is.

You're probably just using too much. The amount of detergent should be commensurate with the level of residues on the dishes. If you are rinsing your dishes before placing them in the dishwasher, stop it. That's the dishwashers job. If the dishes are really dirty use more detergent, if they're not particularly dirty to begin with you can use just a tiny amount. Another thing you can try is if your dishwasher has a spot for detergent during the pre-wash cycle try using the normal amount of detergent, but split it between the pre-wash, and the main wash.

Just use the liquid, let's you scale how much you use to the amount of dishes you are actually cleaning. You can get it cheap from Costco, and it lasts for a long time since you don't need much.
Also you can get dishwasher cleaning packets at the grocery store, run one of them like once a month, along with a garbage disposal cleaner, and your kitchen will be smelling nice.
