I remember when Domino’s was ok, then great, then terrible, then great again (they literally ran a campaign where they apologized for letting things get so bad), and now it’s just okay.

For a brief shining moment Papa John’s was the best ESPECIALLY if you liked anchovies. But this was like for one summer in the 90s.

In my 20s in the 90s which was so many levels of awesome that I can’t even explain it in any detail. 30s in 00s which was still young enough to bang the Paris Hilton wannabes and the plethora of whores that came with that decade, married in my 40s in 2013 to a cute nurse in her 20s, and I feel younger now at 53 than I did at 33.

Secret is to get a public sector job. It’s just show up and then leave. I’ve been driving semitrailers for the post office for 18 years; retiring in two. One thing I will say is that food has never tasted better now and life has never been easier. Blockbuster SUCKED; pay phones SUCKED; in fact everything I always hear everyone here get nostalgic about sucked…except for drive ins…I really thought they were coming back after the pandemic. if you're a pepperoni guy, than avoid anchovies because having both is sodium overkill. Otherwise they are great for deterring children and tastlets from eating your pizza. Would recommend. Cheap pizza joints usually dont have them though so maybe make your own at home. That's what I do.

If you missed a movie you had to wait ten years to catch the Tv edit. Blockbuster was like a library and if you made friends with the clerk you could talk them into ordering obscure/cult movies too. I talked mine into having an entire section of just Jackie Chan movies. At the end though they would have nothing but walls of the number one and number two movies. And then Netflix came out with their catalogs of obscure shit. And now Netflix has nothing but “hit” movies.
