my first experience was my friend hyping it up, saying their burritos "are the size of a baby". So big burritos I guess. Honestly it's the only fast food I'd ever buy today, but there isn't one in my city so I haven't had it in a good couple of years. For me its the standard; white rice, black beans, beef, lettuce, cheese, and salsa.

I think only Miami-Dade had a bit of a starved-for-mexican food situation, back in the day, because though everyone was spanish speaking, they were NOT from Mexico, so is/was is a bit of a good mexican food ghost town. You had to drive south to Homestead where migrant pickers might be.
EVERYWHERE else actually does have mexicans and their restaurants, and in fact the more rural and farmland oriented, the better.

They love it because they love mediocre and non-threatening Mexican food. There aren't words they can't pronounce on the menu. The food won't be too flavorful or spicy.

Chipotle is probably the easiest fast food to cheaply replicate at home. Rice and beans are super cheap, and there's nothing special about their meats or seasonings. I can make an entire week worth of burrito lunches for what a Chipotle burrito costs.

>>19954796
Outside of extremely rural areas, almost everywhere has Mexican food. I'd guess something like 98% of the country lives within 20 minutes drive of a Mexican restaurant.

It used to be good and they spooned out large portions. Its the singular and only healthy option available in most areas. I know you're all obese and don't work out, but consider what you would buy if you wanted a quick meal and cared about getting enough protein and the exact amount of carbs you wanted without a ton of fat/other things added to the meal. Its Chipotle. I personally don't go there because now they're ridiculously priced and stingy on the meat. Wawa has the best protein/carb/fat ratio for a healthy meal on the go via their chicken wraps which also taste good and are ony 5 bucks. A lot of people don't know this though and are living like its still 2018.

I think chipotle was really beloved by normies in the years after it first came out because it was better than taco bell, relatively cheap, used high quality ingredients and the portion size was insane back then. Current year, prices are up, quality is down and portions are probably 1/3 less than what they were in 2010 or w/e.

none of it was traced back to their suppliers, either. it all came from employees. Chipotle is a fervent perpetrator of LGBT agitprop. really gets the noggin joggin.
