Ate the things I like to eat but smaller portions, walked 30-60 minutes a day and have lost 35 lbs in three months. Basipcally, all other diets are a meme

Keto works. I've been doing it for like 15 years for my autoimmune issues. Was never overweight but I look 15 years younger than my age, I'm like the only skinny person left in my neighborhood and family. Clears up skin problems.

But one might not be faulted for getting the wrong idea: Keto forums are like crypto forums or psychedelic drug forums: full of people who have no self control, can't do simple arithmetic, can make common-sense decisions based on the simple arithmetic and so they make retarded mistakes, and the same idiotic questions, over and over again that make everyone look bad.
Your pic is part of what's wrong, people associate keto with eating fucking cheese and bacon for every meal.
To do keto all you have to do is count net carbs and keep them under 40g or so. In a day that means you can have two slices of bread, or a big salad, or plenty of brocolli.
Keto is the patrician diet. NPCs can only ask "Can I eat this? Can I eat that?" and then eat everything in front of them because they lack frontal lobal development and inner monologue to count net carbs and pay attention to what they put in their mouths.
Meanwhiel real keto just means eat mostly proteins and non-starchy veggies. That's it. It's not about eating eggs and cheese and bacon and loaved of pure almond flour, just eat real food and leave out the potatoes, bread, rice.
Most modern americans eat too many carbs period end of and should reduce them regardless.

My breakfast is usually one fruit. A pear or a banana OR one fried egg
Drink shit ton of water
Lunch
Small portion of Left overs from night before which is usually meat & veggie dish
Two small oranges
Cherry tomatos
Small salad (greens only. If I do dressing its whatever non sneed oil dressing I can find)
(Swap out for whatever fresh fruits and veggies Im feeling)
Water

Dinner
Another meat and veggie dish (small side of startch if I feel it)
Water or milk

Cook only with avacado oil, olive, or butter
Use peanut very rarely if Im going to deep fry

Weekends Ill have cheat meals (usually breakfast or lunch only, and Ill skip lunch or dinner if its a big meal)
Ill eat unhealthy snacks too, usually weekends only. I dont like sweets much so I dont eat/drink much refined sugar at all. Its usually chips or something salty.

I read ingredient labels and stay away from hfcs & seed oils/veg oils.

Every day I will walk 30-60 minutes a day without fail. I work in corporate hell so during my breaks & when I have a chance at lunch I walk the parking lot. At home I walk around the block or do yard work.

So thats how I still eat what I want and lose weight. Its easy and works for me. Its become pretty mindless and second nature. I dont like Keto and it didnt work for me. Its no big deal. Could help others who struggle with weight too. Thanks for reading my blog fren :^)

i missed your last paragraph, i wholeheartedly agree with you. except that you should avoid the avocado oil meme, as it is often very processed, very expensive or an outright scam (soybean oil). otherwise you have a very sensible and common sense approach

Thanks for letting me know, I didnt know this. I usually get the Chosen Foods brand or Primal Kitchen. Its a little more pricy but from what Ive read up its a pretty trustworthy brand. I will keep that in mind too. Cant trust much nowadays

It was the easiest diet for me to stick to(-50 lbs). If you can find a diet that you can do consistently then stick with that one.

90% of my meals are just some sort of stir fry: meat of choice + veggies of choice(coleslaw mix,cauliflower rice, shaved brussel sprouts, etc)+ low carb sauce with a sweetener that doesn't spike my blood sugar all cooked in avocado oil or animal fat

I stay away from the meme keto branded foods and keto breads/cookies/etc because I rather not have something than a shitty version of it(other than sauce)
