It's made in China. I thought I was getting a great deal on European Enameled Cast Iron, but it's made in fucking China.
All of BK's advertising and packaging touring their long proud history.... Fucking China. Sending it back.

I'm so fucking annoyed right now. I even looked around, and looked at blogs/articles about their stuff and all of it said it was made in Holland. Couldn't find any caveats for the enamel stuff, like Lodge does. Fucking pain in my fucking ass.

Outside of the two Frenchies, isn't it all made in China?

China won.

Staub, Le Creuset. That's what I thought but then an anon mentioned BK. Looked legitimate and I got excited. Serves me right.

They are lying in everything. NO enamel is safe from a dishwasher.

Invicta is a lesser known brand, but it's also made in France.
Made In cookware, an American company, manufactures its enameled cast iron line in France.

Yeah it’s pretty deceptive, I was looking at them too from that earlier post and the “made in” was either not present or extremely hard to find. Hopefully you can return it and a good deal on non-Chinese will come up soon.

it was pretty much obvious, being significantly cheaper than the other european-made enameled dutch ovens. If it was really made in Holland, they would have written it in large print everywhere.

their original dutch ovens, the enameled steel ones, are still made in Europe (Germany), not the cast iron ones.

There website DOES say it's made in Holland and all the Amazon FAQs said Holland or Belgium, AND some blog said it was.

>There website DOES say it's made in Holland
can't find any mention here:
https://www.bk-cookware.com/bourgogne
like I already said, their enameled carbon steel dutch ovens are still made in Europe, not those.
>and all the Amazon FAQs said Holland or Belgium
people are retarded, they read the brand name and they think it's actually made in Holland.

It's false advertising and they know it.

I'm pissed they are so intentionally vague that I need to be Hec fucking Ramsey to figure out where it was made, and despite using numerous sources it's still impossible to find out.
>>19880007
Yes. It is. Lodge has a small write up for each product and they are clear their regular enamel line is made in China. I might report them to an EU organization of some kind. This was the the cherry on a shitty past couple of days.
