Wingstop thigh bites. They were super fucking juicy and tender, better and different compared to the boneless wings. It's what I imagine Popplers from Futurama taste like.

This shit was cash. It was simple and cheap, you got a big bowl for $4 and it was just seasoned rice, lettuce, chicken, cheese and tomato with zesty sauce on the side. There was a global shortage in poultry, especially wings for some reason, between 2019-2021. Everyone from producers to restaurants raised the price of wings to reflect the scarcity of supply and never brought the prices down because it didn't stop anyone from buying wings.

I remember being excited as a kid to go to KFC to eat because they had a buffet. The chicken was so much better back then too.

Was never able to find any info about this or maybe I'm just remembering it wrong. Back in the late 90s, Taco Bell had this banger of a burrito called something like cowboy burger/texas burger burrito. I got one damn near every day after school. It was only around for like 2 months though.

Same is happening now. People are buying generic...w/e you call them brands because "premium" brands (Nestlé/Unilever) raised their prices too much. Give it a month or 2-3 and they'll be back buying the same expensive shit rolling off the same assembly lines with the same production formula/recipe as the generic brands.
