19861401 No.19861401 [Reply] [Original]

Back in the 90s. KFC had spicy, crispy wings. And for a short time, they would dip those wings into bbq making spicy bbq wings.
It was different because the bbq sauce wasn't spicy, the wings were, and the sweet bbq was layered on top of the spicy wings.
It was by far my favorite fast food as a kid. Then one day the drivethru person said they weren't doing that anymore and I was devastated.

Yes. I was too stupid to get the regular spicy wings and adding bbq sauce myself.

This shit was cash. It was simple and cheap, you got a big bowl for $4 and it was just seasoned rice, lettuce, chicken, cheese and tomato with zesty sauce on the side. It couldn't happen to day because mexican food is trendy shit and they want to throw a bunch of faggot shit in it like black beans, guac and god knows what else. Burger King International Chicken Sandwiches. They still bring them back from time to time but they're tiny now and use inferior ingredients.
>The International Chicken Sandwiches line was introduced in 1988 and is a group of three sandwiches with different toppings that are associated with cuisine from various international regions. The Italian Chicken Sandwich is a chicken parmigiana sandwich with marinara sauce and mozzarella, the French Chicken Sandwich is a Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich with mayonnaise, ham and Swiss cheese, and the American Chicken Sandwich has mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato and American cheese.
Also liked the Bullseye BBQ Burger. If you added lettuce and tomato, it was even more amazing.

At some point, maybe 8 yrs ago, Taco bell had a Quad steak cheesy melt something or other, that was a square fluffy Gordita taco with lots of decently tasty beef and plenty of melted cheese, and/or maybe a cheddar sauce(?).
Basically a quesodilla on beef steroids.
