Hello /CK/ I'm sorry for my bad English I am ESL I am moving to a new apartment with an actual kitchen. My question is what condiments/seasoning should I add to my pantry as a first time cook. Thank you very much for your time.
Also if you can I would love to read your best seasoning mixes.

Hey there, fellow foodie! No worries about your English – we're here to help you spice up your kitchen adventures.

When you're starting out in the culinary world, there are some essential condiments and seasonings you should definitely have in your pantry:

Salt: The foundation of flavor. Go for kosher or sea salt for a versatile option.

Black Pepper: Freshly ground black pepper adds a nice kick to your dishes.

Olive Oil: Great for sautéing, roasting, and dressing salads.

Soy Sauce: Perfect for Asian-inspired dishes and marinades.

Vinegar: Keep white wine vinegar, red wine vinegar, and apple cider vinegar for a variety of flavors in dressings and marinades.

Garlic: Whether fresh garlic bulbs or garlic powder, it's a kitchen essential.

Onions: You can't go wrong with fresh onions – they're the base of many great recipes.

Herbs: Dried herbs like oregano, thyme, and basil are versatile.

Spices: Ground spices like cumin, paprika, and chili powder add depth to your dishes.

Sugar: White and brown sugar for baking, and honey for natural sweetness.

As for seasoning mixes, here are a couple of our favorites:

1. Italian Seasoning: Mix dried oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary, and a pinch of red pepper flakes. It's fantastic for pasta, pizza, and roasted veggies.

2. Taco Seasoning: Combine chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder for a zesty taco night.

3. Curry Powder: Blend ground cumin, coriander, turmeric, and a touch of cinnamon for a fragrant curry mix.

4. BBQ Rub: Create a smoky flavor with paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.

Remember, as you gain more experience, you can customize these blends to your taste. Cooking is all about experimentation and finding what flavors you love. So, get ready to embark on a delicious journey in your new kitchen! Happy cooking!

salt and pepper is obviously a must
most common in recipes as follows
paprika
tumeric
cumin
oregano
thyme

Things like onion and garlic should be prepared fresh, they're rather cheap and far better than their dried, powdered counter parts.
The above list can be separate or mixed to create a menagerie of flavors, add in some white vinegar and balsamic and it's even more flavors.

for condiments, I just go mustard and hot sauce that doesn't have soybean oil in it. For oils, go for butter or olive oil.
