I love sensory engagement. It's not always good, but I love it regardless. Of the two types of engagement I can define (continuous and intermittent), taste has to be my favorite sense to engage intermittently. And generally, the food I consume is pleasant. Now that I'm not depressed and dissociating all the time, the sensations of fullness and hunger are both enjoyable. I'd hate to go back to not feeling them, to feeling next to nothing from the flavors and aromas of the food I'm eating.

I love food, and I don't care how good or bad it is, it's something. It's better than nothing.

Food is definitely an emotional experience. Good food can comfort you when times are bad. Great food can even bring a tear to your eye. Bad food just pisses you right off.

Food is pretty cool, would do again. Overall average experience is a 7/10.

I only eat to sustain myself, doesn't mean I don't enjoy the food I eat, I only eat once a day, (sometimes twice if I feel like it) so I make that one meal special.
If I stuffed myself 3-5 times a day, I would be fat as a motherfucker.
People don't understand the importance of intermittent fasting and how much it would improve their body and energy levels in the long run.
I fucking hate people who constantly whine about "hunger" and how they feel lightheaded if they haven't eaten every 2 hours, convenient food, snacking, jesus fucking christ, stop

If you have self control you can eat 3 normal size(not amerifat sized) meals a day and be normal. You sound like alcoholics who have to completely abstain from any alcohol because if they have one drink they loose it and go on a bender. All the whining is gay though probably all pre-diabetic or some shit.

the eating window is 4-8 hours depending on the type of fast you're doing, so if you fit your 3 meals inside your chosen timeframe, sure
then just don't eat for 16-20 hours. So many people wouldn't be morbidly obese if they did this

i love food simple as. my gf have the palate of a 10 year old, she doesn't like flavors like ketchup, anything vinegary including pickles etc, doesn't care for super seasoned food, doesnt like anything remotely spicy, basically any vegetable or fruit, I could go on. it pisses me off sometimes because I cook and sometimes she just refuses to eat the flavorful side dishes. and it severely limits the places we go out to eat. we're pretty much limited to any mexican restaurant that also sells breakfast burritos, and pizza places. i love my gf so much I'm just upset at her rn because she didn't like my meatloaf that I made an amazing ketchup brown sugar sauce for. rant over. but yes I fucking love food but it needs to have flavor

I love cooking and my parents and siblings say I do it better then our mom even. What really gets my juices flowing though is eating at a deficit. I mean like making really tasty meals without breaking 500kcals a day. I like the challenge of limiting myself and cutting at the same time.

I used to do that too back when I was a neet, but it got boring after a while. Gaming during intermittent fasts especially got old. The only balance I found was to eat copious amounts of healthy food before engaging in strenuous activity or exercise.

I like food a good amount, but I find it a chore 90% of the time, and whatever fulfillment or ego boost I might get from producing something that me or others might enjoy, is fleeting. If I had cash to burn I would pay someone to cook for me while watching over their shoulder in total paranoia, which is why I don't order food or eat out. I haven't had anything not cooked by me or my mom in quite literally a decade, even more so since I moved out, but I do still eat with her a few times a week. Thank you for reading my blog.

Not very much. I used to like making it as kind of a hobby and doing everything right. I think there's a trope about losing your actual appetite when you can finally relax and serve it to people.

Nowadays it's just like I don't really want to eat, let alone cook anything. Then when I do eat food for energy like our human bodies need, my brain goes "Ooh, real energy!" and I remember why I should probably eat more instead of just drinking my calories.

I mostly just got on /ck/ because I've been meaning to mix up my dinners and was looking for new ideas and recipes.

There are sometimes like when I get a giant sub from Jersey Mikes or a large cheese pizza from this local pizza place, that I probably pre-cum my shorts a bit.

I get more excited about beer (sort of food) since it tastes good and makes you feel good, while making you fat. As opposed to regular food that just makes you fat.
