Not a fan. I honestly prefer the lumpy Germanic/Anglo "mash" over my country's silky purée.

I make mashed potatos by microwaving the shit out of the potatos and then mashing them. It works pretty well. Saves a ton of time and cleaning

I pretty much only eat instant mashed/puree potatoes.
The key is to get the stuff that's literally just dried potato, no added flavoring. Skip the direction on package if they tell you to add milk or something, just mix it with hot water and add butter and salt it and tastes like you just made it fresh. Saves so much time.
