They're wrapped in paper...somehow. soft, inoffensive. i'd drain the can of the "sauce", take off the paper, and put on something you like. maybe shredded cheese, or sour cream, or hot sauce. i've never eaten them warmed up

Only canned tamales I've ever had were made by Hormel and they were fucking vile. Like dog food mixed with cornbread and smothered with ketchup.

they are pretty bland. like chef boyardee ravioli just a slightly different flavor. even bland food can be a blessing if you have very little money or are hungry, so remember to be thankful for what you have
