The Kiwi name for honeycomb toffee, which is made by boiling honey and sugar then quickly adding bicarb (aka "baking soda") and tipping out into a parchment lined baking tin. Once cooled, it can be broken apart into pieces and you can see how the bicarb's reaction with the relative acidity of the honey created a honeycomb-like bubbling structure throughout the toffee.

Twix and York.

I've always been more fascinated by the minty filling in York patties though. Is there something similar, but with the mint part on the outside?

What was the name for those big blocky square chocolate ones that had nuts and raisins in them? Those were good.

If you hadn't said "underrated" then Reese's PBCs are the obvious #1, but they aren't underrated, they're universally loved by everyone who doesn't have a peanut allergy.

This was the superior way to consume butter fingers, the balls had more chocolate per bite and the the inside stuck to your teeth less.
But nestle was fucking retarded and canceled it despite it being extremely popular because "the chocolate would melt and was messy on your fingers" even though nobody gave a shit
