Like drills. /diy/ turned me on to this. All electric drill motors are made in the same factory in Taiwan. The only difference between Dewalt and Harbor Freight is quality control. Dewalt inspects the motors it uses. Harbor Feeight takes whatever is leftover in the box at the end of the shift.
