Baristachad here. We prefer you get iced so we don't have to steam milk. If you get drip or just make it at home that's even better.

Fat people almost exclusively get iced drinks though. I assume it's cause hot lattes actually taste good so they can't add gay syrup.

Been drinking coffee almost daily since I was 13 and only had iced coffee once.
It was alright, but one of the main reasons I drink coffee is because of the warmth it brings to the soul.

I only drink my coffee black. Cold brew and iced coffee in general is less acidic so I prefer it typically but I'll never turn down a hot coffee.

Ideal temperature to taste the most out of any beverage is room temp, but I'd say in general climate is a massive factor. If you're hot you want refreshing ice coffee, if you're cold you want comforting hot coffee.
Also, when milk is heated some chemical shit happens like fat breaks down into sugar or something so hot milk is much sweeter than cold milk. In general a hot latte is sweeter than iced (unless you add sugar like a fag) so it depends if you want something more sweet or more bitter

I usually make the largest pot of tea I have and drink a cup of hot and put the rest in the fridge or the freezer. I also have flavoring concentrates and stuff like citric acid I can use to make peach tea, for instance. It's all good with or without sugar, but generally prefer white without sugar and black with. Most of the tea I drink is white tea, and I generally go for the cheap stuff because I am genetically predisposed to saving money and I drink a lot of tea.
