2) How much spice do you put on your food?

Im white and my ancestors came from bongland.

I don't mind spicy food but now anything above habanero tobasco sauce gives me bad indigestion and heartburn so it's not worth it.

Calabrese Italian, a lot. My grandma would dare me to take a bite out of chilies at the table as a kid and I eventually started eating spicier food.

White mutt.
A lot of seasoning, not that much heat.
I may have a dulled perception of taste, because often I have served people Indian or Thai dishes that I think ended up somewhat lacking in seasoning and they rave about how flavorful it is.

I never understood the 'white people don't like spice' meme. And the hot sauce thing, say whites don't like spicy food then spam soyjacks for anyone who likes hot sauce.

Historically, "white" cuisine wasn't spicy. See French, Italian and English food. Only Spanish food has elements of spice.

The people talking about muh spice (niggas) dont even have a cuisine though, and Jewish food (do they even have food?) isn't particularly spicy either.

Eurasian.
Like... spices or chilli? Cuz I use a lot of chilli but I don't use spices as often. I mean... I use them... just not nearly as much as I do spices

The two aren't related. "White people don't season they food" was once a harmless jab black people would use to poke fun at whites. Then online leftists discovered it and turned it into a way to weapon their white guilt by chastising cooking from white skinned ethnicities, like British or German food.
The hot sauce meme is totally different. That's just making fun of people who think eating super hot shit is somehow really epic and manly and collect sauces like they're funko pops. They're the IPA guys of condiments.

Uses spices, you fucking moron. Caraway, nutmeg, mace, coriander seed, juniper etc are fucking spices.

1) Ethiopian
2) A lot; still live with my parents, we tend to put at LEAST five different spices in during cooking, usually seven or eight. That doesn't count any hot sauces or powders we use on the finished product. Next time my dad preps a salmon filet on the cast iron, I'll take a pic of the spice blend and make a thread.

White Euromutt. I put a lot when I'm making food from a cuisine that uses it. Like when I make Mexican food I put a lot, but chicken breast with just salt, pepper, and a pan sauce can be fantastic. I like spice but I don't usually put hot sauce on everything, I'll just make a spicy dish very hot

1) Sino-celt
2) Little to none, I have a high spice tolerance but I don't cook spicy food for myself. I found spice more enjoyable when I was young

I put hot sauce on a steak because spicy = good

>> No.19645024

>>19645016
Awful taste, if you want a spicy steak that's fine, but have a bit more class. Just use some cayenne while seasoning, or make a sauce with hot peppers. Hot sauce is overpowering for steak

If I'm making something savory, I'm adding herbs and spices to it, and often use fresh or pickled peppers as well. Sometimes I will even add a few dried chilis to desserts or wines, spicy caramel is one of my favorites.
