I got a bottle of this stuff chilling in the fridge. I'll be drinking it from the bottle and shooting down soviet bombers in VR this evening

>> No.19591396

I'm a firm believer that martinis should only be consumed out of martini glasses. If you don't have a martini glass, just go with a lowball.

I suspected that you were a child when I read this, and probably haven't been old enough to drink for very long, but this >>19591486 confirms it. You've never even had a martini before now. It's amazing that zoomers grew up with the internet in their back pocket and still can't figure out basic shit like knowing the difference between a style and a brand.

But you don't know how you like it, OP. That's the point. You're basically a picky eater who has so little experience you lack any frame of reference, and then insist that everyone has the right to their own taste, despite not having any taste due to an undeveloped palate.

vodka from the freezer with the most cloying artificial sweetener the devil cursed the earth with.

i think about the Ukrainian restaurant outside of Berlin where they serve vodka the best way I've had it. ice cold, with a side toothpick with pickled pork fat (salo), a picked gherkin, and a crostini to accompany it. this is the way God intended man to drink vodka

I wanted to get lemons, although I prefer lime, but it's been raining heavy constantly here for like, 3 days, so when I got to the supermarket I straight up forgot, and this squeeze bottle lol is not cutting, but you make do with what you got

Also, I'm curious, what garnish would you use for a Vodafone Co other then just the lemon/lime wedge?

If you don't want to drink, don't drink.

I'm going to be riding planes, trains and automobiles with a gaggle of recovering-alcoholic musicians for ten days. When I get back, I'll probably have a black negroni (You heard me), but I might do a yellow-gin "perfect" martini (the vermouth is 50-50 dry white to sweet red) - a little of my own orange bitters in there, a good squeeze of a grapefruit peel over top and tossed in (better with the rosso than lemon is). Regardless, the gin's going in the freezer today, and I'll restock the amaro and vermouth if I need to.
