Yes, its a German Schwarzbeir. That particular German brand labels it a malt liquor I think it was because of some legal or manufacturing reasons. i 'be not had it in over ten years (I don't drink much anymore and might give up alcohol), but its damn good and is like a light lager. You think it'll be a stout or porter, but its not its. Its light and clean.

it's definitely not. very bland and boring. was extremely disappointed with the 4pack i got recently, maybe just unlucky with the bottles.

Good Sunday evening beer bros, I am 6+? beers in and pretty drunk right now (cheap beer and whisky). it's really strange I can still remember the painful memories. the more strange thing is I always become more calm when I am drunk, I never get angry or chimp out no matter how much I drink , unlike many others. Maybe it's just an illusion but I am more concentrated and more logically at the mement when I am intoxicated. It's kind of ironic because it's like when I am in this state, there is no "fun" things to do anymore other than philosophizing and meditating. Do I just have 'tism and even alcohol can't fix me?

I've been meaning to try out some IPAs, what's the best on the market?
The big names where I'm at are Lagunitas, Hazy Little Thing, Elysian, Voodoo Ranger, Stone IPA, Mind Haze, and Founders.

Lil somethin and their tiki IPAs are good, not overly bitter, hop stoopid is A tier in its class but definitely bittershit.
They have the faggy packaging because 99% of the craft brews are IPA slop ad they're trying to catch your attention. Read the little description and look at the ABV, that's the biggest indcator of what you'll be getting and theres set profiles between different brands regardless of what they say.
The 'fruity' labeled voodoos are good, as are some of the Stones. Set aside 20 bucks and get a variety, you'll know what you do/don't like within a few sipps

It's some of the best wine in the world (makes french shit taste like drain water) but if you have a modicum of bullshit experience you get 9/10ths of the way there by playing along. So why is drinking non-alcoholic beers in the bar so wrong for me in particular, compared to regular?
I currently make and eat cannabutter and just drink a soda at the bar, for comparison.

I tried picrel out of curiosity. It has that weird aftertaste that all high ABV beers seem to have, I don't know what it is exactly. It's like a sweet & bitter taste that gets in the back of my mouth.

Interesting is the right word. There's so many styles and brews it gets hard to even decide what to get. Sometime I just pick cool labels, other times I pick a flavor profile and see what exists.
I can say for sure that I just don't enjoy sours nor anything aged in liquor barrels, even if I like said liquor.
I can't stand stouts with lactose either, they just too cloyingly sweet. Dry stouts and coffee stouts are great though.
High ABV is a tossup, either they hit just right and become a favorite, or they have that weird taste I mentionned.
I liked ale on lees when I was younger but nowadays they come across as too sweet and thick.
Hazy IPAs disgust me but clear ones are fine. In fact, a clear peach IPA is my favorite beer ever, Autre Chose by Unibroue.
Most lagers and pilsners are innoffensive, I often have one as a "starter" beer.
I'm sure there's more to say but I forget.
