Is he right? Are Americans eating fake bread?

>> No.19527394

Yesterday my mom made me go up into the attic because her AC broke. I climbed the ladder and when I got up to the last step I hit my head on what was a metal bar with a long screw jutting out from under it that was part of the AC rig.
I had a big bloody gash on the side of my head so I washed it out with water and rubbing alcohol and applied antibiotic ointment.

Anyway, my dad said I should go get a tetanus shot, but is that necessary? I mean, I don't think there was rust on the metal I cut myself on, and I washed it out thoroughly. Is there any reason to believe I'm at risk? Or am I gonna die?

>> No.19527414

>>19527394
Tetanus is a bacterial thing that can happen regardless of rust, however, it typically lives in dirt so it's unlikely that some random screw in the ceiling of a house is contaminated. You should be fine.

Sandwich bread is a cheap product for cheap people.
Anyone who can afford better will buy better, in the USA as well as everywhere else.
Don't let the yurofaggots fool you; their lower classes buy tons of sandwich bread as well. Sales numbers don't lie; over a third of all bread sold in France, for example, is American-style processed white sandwich bread.

All this online hype and shitflinging is generated by a small bunch of yurofags desperate to find some sort of win over the USA because of how badly they get beaten in all other respects; such as using American computers to play American games and watch American actors in American movies etc.

It is cake. Even the best artisan expensive bread is cake. There is so much sugar in your recipes it can't be called bread.
This is not even an Amerika=bad moment, your scale of what is the appropriate amount of sugar in "neutral" baked goods, which I would consume both with sweet and salty topping, is so skewed you are unable to even comprehend regular bread.
It was like a conspiracy where everyone was on it and simultaneously didn't even know.
This was around 2010 so things may have changed but god-damn.
Even attempting to make my own bread was useless - even when I added almost bill sugar for yeast it tasted sweet.

Definitely not. I've been all over North America and Asia, and while German bakeries (i.e. ones run by actual German bakers who emigrated) are surprisingly ubiquitous, the story is always the same: the locals buy pastries and white bread while the authentic German breads are almost exclusively bought by other German expats and the occasional health nut or Germaboo.
