The Olive Garden in my town is on life support. They went from a line wrapped around the building to mostly-empty dining areas. They’ve cut down on their portion sizes, removed a lot of menu items, and their prices are way too high. A locally-owned actual Italian restaurant is absolutely slaughtering them and I couldn’t be happier. It is restoring my faith in humanity. You can go to Olive Garden for lunch and get a child’s portion of fettuccini alfredo that tastes like it came out of a bucket, or go to this local place and pay the same price for a massive plate of homemade pasta and sauce, AND it includes chicken. They completely mog Olive Garden on every level.
