The large containers of Tillamook is value brand garbage. The pints are marginally better.
Even compared to other value brands I wouldn't choose Tillamook over a comparable Bluebell, Kroger, or HEB branded ice cream.

Why is it hard to get good basic ice cream these days? I don't want any cilantro-cookie-nutsack combination. What's wrong with just chocolate? Unironically my favorite ice cream ever was the walmart great value brand called "fudge tracks." That shit was less than $3 a tub and was the best store bought ice cream I ever had, it blew the fuck out of every stupid B&J or haagen-dazs flavor.
Then they discontinued the bigger tub of it and moved the flavor over to a smaller tub that costs twice as much per weight, despite other flavors still having big tubs.
