Can anyone recommend some new spices to use. All I’ve been doing for the last year is different combos of garlic powder, Chili powder, Tumeric, Oregano, Paprika, cumin, and dried basil. Pic unrelated

Sumac is your friend.
Trust in him. A tart and cirtrusy flavor, without bringing any extra liquid or acid.

Sichuan Peppercorn is fantastic.
Great with poultry and vegetables especially. Raw it has a very floral taste, and toasted it brings a rich savoriness.

curry powder, I know it gets a bad rep cause of poos, but it's pretty tasty and can be added to a lot. I like tossing my diced potatoes in it before baking.

Mustard seeds and cumin seeds, then ginger and garlic and green chiles, then a diced onion, then coriander in the pan and you are cooking indian food.

Try monosodium glutamate (AKA Ac'cent). It literally is a protein, and it makes your food taste nutritious (like protein) if you are excluding proteins from your meal.

Use smoked paprika and make chili powder from home grown chilis. Grow different kinds and mix them up to your liking
