That said, frozen food is a bad value so you shouldn't eat it constantly unless you have tons of money to burn. Even then you're cheating yourself out of better food.

Also, although I'm a fatass who eats this stuff sometimes and not chemophobic... still, there's a lot of weird shit in frozen food like food additives.

There's a lot of retard-proof basic dishes you can make. Buy a roasting pan and make a pot roast. Stick a ham on it and just roast the shit out of it in the oven and cut off the burnt crust. Roast potatoes in it with butter. Pizza is pretty simple and fairly cheap with a little elbow grease.

I also buy ingredients for and mostly fail to make homemade pizza. I have all the tools and ingredients I need for it but I don't bother most of the time.

I think if you struggle to bother making food, then you need to handle that before you beat yourself up over not making food more. It's harder to make food when you're starving and have low energy.

This is probably my favorite frozen meal. Saffron Road makes great Indian meals but everything else they sell is pretty meh. Also good is Beecher's Mac and Cheese and Marie Callendar's pot pies.

Marie Callender's turkey pot pie and the only thing that even comes close to its glory is the Marie Callender's chicken pot pie.
All other frozen meals I've had, though that's admittedly not many since I didn't grow up in the US, were forgettable at best but most were just outright bad.

Frozen pizzas are $3 each in my area. A few weeks back, I was getting Neuman's own ones for 50c each ($9 normal price, 50% off special, $4 off reusable 7-day digial coupon IE could be used once daily for 7 days). I don't even buy frozen pizza but at that price, I figured I'd try it and if it sucks, I'll still get the other six and donate them to the relief pantry at our congregation.
