I don't like food with beer, but a friend served Spanish peanuts with whiskey and they were excellent. They have a nice juciness that ordinary roasted peanuts lack

I'm Portuguese-American and we call those fava nuts. Good shit too. They're all good: plain ones and the spicy Chinese ones like you posted. The Chinese also make them with garlic

we have local brands like picrel that sell them as fava beans but iirc they're all the same thing essentially. i personally don't care for the "skin" so i would rip through a bag of those ones you posted.
