Don't trust Slavs, kids.), and you think you can more or less nail down baozi. I highly recommend doing a fusion mishmash: the potato, onion, and bacon of pierogi/varenyky with mushrooms, shredded cabbage (or a Chinese brassica of some variety), and a finely ground spice mix of black pepper, caraway, dill, and a bit of fennel. Fold them like baozi, and cook them like potstickers (fry the bottom while steaming the top). This is enough of a curve on the culinary blade, and enough grease on the sausage for you to get the tip in. You'll have a scary, plump giant wife in no time.
