Besides the veggies, how is this substantially different from an Arby’s French Dip?

including the veggies
how is this any different from my toilet bowl?

you mean beef jus? with a beef sandwich ?

>> No.19372476

Arby's is basically steakums on doughy weird bread with a slice of white American served with a cup of beef bouillon.

Similar in premise, but executed as cheaply as possible.

the spices and quality of ingredients
even large chains that serve italian beef have better meat than arby's

You're supposed to dip the bread sandwich filled with thinly sliced roast beef in au jus. Not boil a pot roast, shred it, and then shove it in a demi-baguette simmered in au jus.

the jus is lightly spicy and has a different kind of flavor that's hard to pin. Hard to describe because I haven't lived anywhere that sells Italian beef in several years, but I've yet to find anything quite like it
the bun is excellent, it's kinda dry and a little crusty to soak up the jus really well
and importantly the whole thing should be dunked in the jus for maximum flavor

The spice combination is far different and those "veggies" are hot or mild GIARDINIERA. Also, that's a dipped Italian beef, meaning the entire sandwich was filled and then literally dunked with tongs into pool of au jus. Also spiced for unique Italian beef flavor
