Is it good for you or is it just a meme?

What about homemade

>> No.19363706

nothing with refined sugars is good for you. plain kefir is healthy, if you want it to taste like mango just blend it with mango and have a smoothie. add some cardamom to make a lassi, pineapple/coconut/banana also goes with mango

Kefir shills. Kefir is extremely unhealthy for you due to the bacteria

i am speculative on how much probiotics reach your colon, but i think it's still beneficial to drink real kefir because it will slowly change the acidity of the colon so good bacteria can grow easier

It is actually hilarious how they tricked Americans into thinking some fucking kefir-based drink full of sugar and artificial fruit flavourings is healthy.

It pretty accurately summarises American culture. They want the health benefits of kefir but since they can't stand the taste of real kefir, they have to drink a fake substitute instead.

what is your BMI?
it's good for you for probiotics, but you're only supposed to drink a bit. it's not like normal cow's milk

Yeah, it's good for you, also definitely settles your stomach. The flavored shit is loaded with sugar. Only problem is regular keifer is so good, it's easy to guzzle - and it's loaded with carbs, so not a great idea, if you are dieting.

https://scitechdaily.com/genotoxic-warning-chemical-found-in-common-sweetener-damages-dna/
>“Other studies have found that sucralose can adversely affect gut health, so we wanted to see what might be happening there,” Schiffman says. “When we exposed sucralose and sucralose-6-acetate to gut epithelial tissues – the tissue that lines your gut wall – we found that both chemicals cause ‘leaky gut.’ Basically, they make the wall of the gut more permeable. The chemicals damage the ‘tight junctions,’ or interfaces, where cells in the gut wall connect to each other.

“A leaky gut is problematic, because it means that things that would normally be flushed out of the body in feces are instead leaking out of the gut and being absorbed into the bloodstream.”
The researchers also looked at the genetic activity of the gut cells to see how they responded to the presence of sucralose-6-acetate.
>“We found that gut cells exposed to sucralose-6-acetate had increased activity in genes related to oxidative stress, inflammation, and carcinogenicity,” Schiffman says.

It dun sounds gud.
