i went to an asian grocery, there are at least 3 or 4 different chain ones in houston, and the ground beef i got made me sick and smelled off. i liked how they had tons of things like pork belly but after the beef incident i stayed clear. felt weird being in there since i wasnt asian. they have completely different sources on produce and fish it seems from the non asian chains. it was a pretty big store too so there were big aisles of cookingware, lots of snacks. some of the chinese products have canadian flags on them. i can see myself going there again but not for every product on my list

Dog the big Korean grocery stores sell fresh produce. If it's what's pictured in OP, it's huge. It's the shitty corner market ones that are sketch AF that you shouldn't trust, everything in those places has been on the shelves for 10 years minimum.
