Because the standard tip isn't 20%, it's 15%. In a state with 7% sales tax it's easier to just double the tax and bump it.

It's a cultural thing, numbnuts. You wouldn't get it. But if it makes you feel any better, many jobs that used to receive tips no longer do. Any general, anyone providing a personal service to you and ESPECIALLY people crossing the threshold into your abode to provide services should receive a tip. In fact, anyone coming to your home should get a tip coming and going. This is what it means to be someone who expects to be treated well and not have to bribe like some third world shithole, which is the inverse of tipping, and what all these anti-tipping posts are REALLY about. It's them being ashamed that their societies are corrupt.

If I'm going to a restaurant and paying then I dont want to calculate some stupid tipping, the price should be included in the first place. It's pathetic that customers should have to deal with retard level tips.
