The more i read about cooking the less i cooked. Cooking food is also processing after all. It's also much less time consuming and comfier/healthier to do less cooking.

Now i eat oat meal with berries/banana or even chocolate for breakfast, chickpeas with spinach for lunch(pic related), some nuts into early dinner with some meat/eggs with potatoes/rice and veggies.

Takes about 10 min to prepare each meal and there is barely any processing going on
>lunch cooked on on steam or small amount of olive oil
>eggs poached or cooked on butter
>meat cooked on lard

Anyone else cooks very little/ have some healthy, barely processed dishes?

I simply use healthy, unprocessed ingredients and process it very little.

The chicken is cooked on lard and broccoli, cauliflower and carrot steamed or baked in the oven are real good.

It's usually women that make those ridiculous, overcomplicated dishes larping being healthy but in reality aren't really.

Explain to me how without sounding like a 35-year old white woman from the suburbs. Explain to me exactly how you cooking something in the oven is any different from cooking it in a frying pan or boiling it in a stock or using a sous vide.

I want you to use actual reasoning, not "muh processing, muh all natural ingredients." Explain it to me exactly why it's better to bake a cauliflower than to puree it.

This just seems like saving resources and maybe time, not health. It would be healthier to hard cook down a bowl of nutrient packed sloppa so it is edible.

The most common way of processing is cooking on a pan, using large amounts of oil. The unhealthy part are the vegetable oils.

Vegetable oils by themselves are unhealthy, but bringing them to a high heat is especially so. Deep frying something is the worst.

Using lard, ghee, butter without exceeding smoking point is the healthiest way by far.

There is nothing wrong with certain processes, and there are certain processes that are minimally bad for you. And those are processes I'm willing to do.

yeah its mostly carbs in my first few meals but they usually have some protein from milk/peanuts/chickpeas/beans/cheese etc. but and they are quite small portions.

Then I have one big, protein rich meal.
