supermarket bakeries never have uncut whole wheat bread, and i don't know how to find a bakery in Minneapolis

this is the closest i can find. i'm aware barley malt is essentially sugar. they're pretty good toasted.

Ezekiel bread is marketed as sugar free.

Unlike most mass produced bread, they supposedly do not add any sugar to their dough. So, it needs to ferment a little longer.

You might get bigger loaves by baking your own flour, salt, warm water, and yeast bread.

>do not add any sugar to their dough. So, it needs to ferment a little longer.
sugar is not added to dough to make it rise faster, it's added to enhance browning/toasting, and because people like sweeter bread.

adding sugar inhibits yeast.

those fags are riding the healthy organic wave and rich christians usually buy that shit

you can get cinammon raisin bread for like $4.

bread isn't a nutrition monster. you're supposed to fuckin eat bread as like a thing you eat insead of meat or veg because everything can't be the good shit (meat and veg). it's "bread and butter". It's not supposed to be this fuckin nutrient powerhouse shit that you spend 10 bucks on. you can get healthy on frozen vegetables for 1/10th the price and just eat some fresh white bread

it's not gonna fuckin kill you

this, last year i started buying small loaves (only enough for about 6 normal thickness slices) from a local bakery every other day.
its always fresh
its always high quality
its always cheaper
because the size is so small it never has time to go bad and if it does again its so small that its not like i wasted a whole loaf.
anyone who buys bread in a plastic bag from a grocery store is literally an idiot.
and omg the taste difference is crazy, grocery store bread doesnt even register in my brain as real bread anymore.
