What? No. It does the exact opposite to me. I don't fast either. I just consume more veg instead of pasta or bread. That cuts down on calories without having to go to any extremes. Fits my macro goals more easily as well. You don't need to be neurotic about it. Maybe if you have nothing better to distract yourself with all day? Even then I'd rather cook healthy food instead of not eating. Weighing out ingredients makes portion control easy.
