Newfag here when it comes to beer. I'm trying to find my go to lager. I'm not seasoned enough to form an opinion. I've only ever had lagers and light beers, including:
>Coors Light
>PBR
>Molson Canadian
>Budweiser
>Bud Light
>Rolling Rock
If there's any lager or light beer I'm missing out on, tell me.
Feel free to just talk about beers you like too.

Molson Ice is super smooth to throw back and relax with. It's by far my favorite cheap beer.

Basically the only 2 worth buying from that company anymore is yeungling and PBR. A better option is to find a local brewery near you and see if your local grocery store or liquor store stocks local brands. Its best to buy local instead of throwing money at a billion dollar mega brewery that doesn't give a shit.

>> No.19289847

Yeah I get it, its kinda why I've mostly quit drinking. $1.50 a can for PBR versus $2-5 a can for local stuff gets expensive quick. Not to mention $5-8 pints at a bar.

But yeah, as far as cheap but still good lagers, yeungling, Coors Banquet, PBR, Lonestar would be the order of preference, but I'm not buying coors anymore either.

Again, I'd still recommend buying local especially if they're a good company overall employing local people to brew it and serve it. Btter than paying money where a grocery store gets a cut, the distributor gets a cut, the mega-corp takes their share, and the worker making 100,000 gallons of beer gets paid $15/hour.
