I am partial to the taste of copper and silver. Perhaps get a pan lined with either of those.

what do i cook my bread in? butter is too rich and the flavor overwhelms the sandwich

>> No.19277345

Butter or mayonnaise, and lots of it. Salt the buttered or mayo'd bread before browning.

Do you know how hard it is to butter bread when it's cold? Far better to melt the bread in the ban and butter it that way

But butter is too rich and the flavor of it and salt overwhelms the sandwich.

incorrect as the butter and salt are a part of the flavor profile of the sandwich.
you just don't like grilled cheese is all.
>>19277424
>Do you know how hard it is to butter bread when it's cold?
that's why you put the butter on the counter 30 mins. before spreading it, anon.

Use better cheese. That means don't use American "cheese," a.k.a. vaguely cheese-flavored vegetable oil product.

>> No.19277478

Cook it in a stock pot, instead. Problem solved.

The worst part about American cheese is you never know what cheese was used to make it. Legally, it can be made from one up to seven different cheeses, or any combination thereof. It's like the hot dog of the cheese world.

American cheese doesn't have oil in it, it's just extra milk/cream/water and sodium citrate to emulsify it

incorrect.
the point is to eat it.
if you wanted something quick you'd eat fruit because it's already ready already.
