I've made it bros. I've achieved Sleepytime Bear-mode.

if you mean the fireplace it's electric. it's still comfy but no I don't have a chimney

>> No.19271521

I sometimes consider getting an electric one and I have a real fireplace. Maintenance is an absolute pain in the ass. It's not something you need to do often, but fuck me does cleaning a chimney suck ass.

Is something wrong with it? It shouldnt need cleaning that often

This has fucking nothing to do with /ck/. You just used the word "kitchen" and that's it.

No, nothing wrong with it. I live in northern Michigan and use it all the time throughout the winter. Like I said, it's not something that needs to be done often. But using a fireplace all winter and not sweeping it come next year is asking to burn your house down.

You want to replace a wood burning fireplace with an electric garbo one to avoid a 2 hour chore once a year?

>> No.19271557

>>19271550
I've considered it, yes. Modern electric ones are quite nice. It's also a pain the ass to chop several cords of wood.

>several cords
How big is your fireplace? Also you know the electric ones arent going to keep you warm

actually it's mostly about Sleepytime tea of which there are often threads about on this board; many times considering how comfy the bear is and how to achieve that state.

yeah my friend has a pellet stove and even though those are cleaner/easier to deal with than an open fireplace or wood furnace, he still has to have a guy come clean the chimney every year which involves pulling the whole stove apart and it's a whole projecct
