>Only b'cos PALI get
here's the way:
>quality popcorn--your choice, It's ALL non-GMO
>Large pot, 2-3 Tblsp. coconut oil heat med-high
>Put in 3 kernels of popcorn to test for temp--when they pop--ADD
>1/4C. popcorn
>True moovie-tater poopcorn uses Flavor-col™ salt, you can buy it online, but I prefer just popcorn salt
Popcorn salt is just sea salt or kosher salt that is ground POWDER FINE. A coffee grinder or mortar and pestle will get you there.
Iodized WON't Be the same.
That's it--dump real butter on, and if you wanna get fancy, try fresh ground pepper, or even one or the Kernel seasons--I'm pretty hardcore about clean foods, but even I will use the Kernel.

Nah..
I RARELY use that stuff.
there are LOTS of better toppings.
But I was impressed at how good it was.
Usually, I micro-pop with
>pic rel
Then pour on butter, Fresh ground pepper, and sometimes chili pow. or Parmesan cheese.
It's also astounding to me how many people will pay a premium for kettle corn, when ALL it is is cooking the oil, sugar, salt, and popcorn together.

Pretty much this if anyone is wondering, although I feel like 3 Tablespoons of oil is too much so I just do 1 heaping tablespoons (honestly probably closer to 2 tablespoons) comes out just as good but not greasy.

The secret to the movies theater taste if anyone is wondering is flavacol. You can get it from Amazon for dirt cheap and it will last forever.

As far as how to make it, I’d recommend a Whitley-pop

The secret is the commercial popcorn machine that stirs as it pops. That and the fact that they pop it in soybean oil with artificial butter flavor. Also weird captcha.

Turmeric is what makes the yellow color.
Using your own makes it kinda taste "Mediciney" but combined with butter and Black pepper, it's a GREAT anti-inflammatory.
And it's not unpleasant, when you get used to it.
