I don't understand "rating" a fast food product when it ultimately depends on if the wagie making your food has an iq above 85 or not.
I can eat the exact same thing at two different fast food places and it will taste completely different.

you've got a good point, but I just rate something based on an average. in conversation I have the ability to say something like "when it's good it's good and when it's bad it's bad" i.e. mcdonalds fries

here in America establishments can pay significantly less hourly wage if the staff is considered "tipped" employees

>> No.19175558

>>19175258
It's really bizarre how it's considered normal to have customers pay employee wages directly instead of the employer. Imagine if you bought some stuff at the grocery store and then had to pay the cashier extra so the corporation that owns him doesn't have to.

It's an outdated pay system that's a holdover from the Great Depression. But a lot of waiters like it because they don't report their cash tips and therefore are taxed less. Which is based, fuck the tax man.
If you wanted to match that with taxable income you'd need to pay waiters a lot more which most places aren't willing to do

Sometimes I wish I could top the kitchen staff at a fast food place that does a good job. I'm not too familiar with other places but preparation makes a huge difference at Taco Bell.

On the one hand, people should expect that their food will deteriorate in the 30 minute car ride from restaurant to door.

On the other hand, restaurants should understand what is and isn't delivery friendly.

Anything hot and crispy will arrive warm, floppy and damp. Anything cold is going to warm up. I have 0 idea why places offer fried chicken and ice cream on these services, literally 0 chance it'll be satisfactory.

it's the restaurant's responsibility to provide adequately insulated packaging so it's the restaurant's fault if the food goes cold. the delivery driver used his insulated delivery bag to shield that package from the elements but it's the restaurant's responsibility to provide the packaging. if it's not insulted for hot food then you suffer the bad reviews.

restaurants know this because one time i had to deliver crispy chicken and the chef cut the corner off the plastic lid on the container to vent the steam so it remained crisp when it arrived to the customer. but the idiot customer gave me a negative review accusing me of damaging the package because the corner of the lid was missing. dumb cunt.

The whole point of eating fast food is consistency, you should be able to get the exact same bean burrito from a Taco Bell in Los Angeles as you do in New York. If I go there expecting to get consistency and don't get it, there would be no better reason for me to give a negative review.

Tipping is meant to insult people who you feel superior to.
So you should either not tip because you want to do this, or you should not tip because you don't want to do this.
