I live alone and go through about a gallon a week. I love having a tall glass of whole milk, but I use it in cooking a lot too. I'll drink maybe a 14oz glass every other day. I, though, definitely am a connoisseur of high quality milks. Have you ever had goat milk? I always assumed they sold it in the Mexican stores just for people making tres leches cake or something, but the stuff is divine to drink on its own. It's $5.99 for a quart so it's an occasional splurge for me, but if you haven't tried it your definitely missing out. I thought it would be really sour, like how goat cheese is, but no— it's just very creamy and sweet with a wonderful aroma.
Makes me think about how the best mozzarella is made from water buffalo milk. I have to try it straight and fresh at least once in my life, I'll bet it's amazing.

For a couple years as a massive alcoholic I did GOMAD pretty much every day just by drinking 1/2 of a gallon of milk every time I woke up in between the consumption of a handle of vodka every 24 hours.
I rarely ate any real food.
Eventually I had to be hospitalized because my gut function was so screwed up, but that wasn’t the malk’s fault.
I’ve since stopped, but I do miss it.

Yeah if you're drinking enough to the point that you have calcium crystals forming in your kidneys, but that'll happen with anything high in minerals.
