Any animal or other food you really feel guilty about eating?

Never had bat. Most bats I've interacted with were cute and scared as hell. Unfortunately they've reached dog/cat/red panda status with me, where I have personal gripes with ending their lives for my own benefit. This means I had a double whammy of shock when it came out that ching-chongs were eating bats to cause COVID-19.

Again, never ate them, but after removing a bat from a college friend's house (and seeing how scared the thing was in my hands), bats have too much personality for me to eat.

its kind of funny how there's been a 180 in how humans view bats; Nowadays everyone seems to think bats are "cute" and "good/helpful", when as short as a hundred years ago virtually everyone hated bats and thought of them as evil, vile things.

It didn't occur to me at the time, any more than eating rat would. After walking the bat outside, seeing him/her shaking like hell was approaching, and listening to sorority cunts say "kill it" simply because it found its way into their house, I realized that I felt nothing but sympathy for them.
>>19142833
I think it's because we understand them more. They eat mosquitos, the actual vampiric disease-spreading vermin. How could I have anything but love for them? They're right up there with cats (who kill the vermin that ruin grain stores).

All of them, except fish.
Where I live we have commercial "broiler" chicken coops located about 15 minutes from my house. They are basically only ever cleaned out between shipments and the smell is something like a mix of ammonia waste and decayed carrion that carries miles away from the farms and seeps into your car before you even approach them. I have to turn my A/C off as I drive by especially in the Summer as the baking putrid stench is intolerable otherwise. I've heard it's even worse if you live around pig farms. What many don't know if they don't live near where chickens are produced is that when they are shipped out for slaughter (we have 2 butcher plants nearby) is that they collect them in night shift while they are sleeping and pack them into these cage trucks like sardines that are so small they can't stand up.

The rock knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't.

In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the rock is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the rock must also know where it was.

The rock guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the rock has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.
