are you talking about unfrosted pop tarts? the elusive unfrosted blueberry was my favorite as a kid. brand name pop tarts are unnaturally bad though. you have to get the store brand ones or the tostem pop ups, the pastry and jam are of slightly better quality and consistency. still a shit tier product, appalling that it's sold as a breakfast food

I mean, in America at least there are tons of breakfast foods that are based on "carbs+sugar".

Donuts, Cinnamon rolls, breakfast cereals, pancakes and syrup, other pastries.
