are you talking about unfrosted pop tarts? the elusive unfrosted blueberry was my favorite as a kid. brand name pop tarts are unnaturally bad though. you have to get the store brand ones or the tostem pop ups, the pastry and jam are of slightly better quality and consistency. still a shit tier product, appalling that it's sold as a breakfast food

You're reheating them incorrectly. Put them in the microwave for ~20 seconds, then throw them into the toaster.

I get aura migraines sometimes when eating these. They are so delicious tho. I don't know what's in it that causes the migraine and I'm afraid to try out other brands if it will cause the same effect.

I mean, in America at least there are tons of breakfast foods that are based on "carbs+sugar".

Donuts, Cinnamon rolls, breakfast cereals, pancakes and syrup, other pastries.

It's far from healthy of course, I'm just pointing out that Pop Tarts aren't an outlier in this regard.
