Crystal is the superior Louisiana-style hot sauce, Tabasco is way too vinegar-focused. You can actually taste the peppers first in Crystal.

What the fuck? The 5oz bottle is basically the industry standard for hot sauce. I doubt Tabasco did it first, but they're certainly one of the oldest and most iconic.

I can easily go through a 5 oz bottle in less than a week. 12oz should be standard. I bought a couple of 2 oz bottles of habanero Tabasco on clearance and went through them in 4 days just using them on my scrambled eggs.

There's both measurements in the images of the bottles. You can extrapolate from there that 1oz is basically 30ml.

I don't know, anon. Pretty sure you can't even measure 0.001ml of tabasco sauce. Seems like kind of a dumb system.

Wow, when you convert one system of units to another you can turn round numbers into weird numbers! You're definitely the first person to notice this and it's certainly very relevant to literally anything.

Truth, but if you want hot sauce, you have to go with Mexican products, as Mexican hot sauce is almost all peppers, and has very little, if any vinegar.. Valentina is good, but the best available on the mass market is yucateco mayan.

Years ago I went to Avery Island. They just keep the area open for factory tours and then you can just roam the property. It was really peaceful and beautiful. There’s no telling what kind of money they spend maintaining the woods and trails but it was something else. They even have this random Buddhist shrine just sort of in the woods that people make pilgrimages to. They had a nice educational tour about how the Tabasco was made but I found myself more interested just roaming the property. It was nothing like I expected.

surely the human mind can remember a simple conversion rate real easily. like, you dont even have to try to remember it.
