Let's talk burgers /ck/ most of you are Americans so I know your like burgers.

Who the heck even eats those? What makes a burger good is the ratio of all the ingredients. If one is overwhelming its a bad burger. The ration of vegetable, sauce, meat, bun should be exactly right.

Yet we see shit as pic related that might as we be a meatball on a stick with some cheese on top.

The moment you look at that 2lbs patty you just have to feel sorry for that bottom bun. It's smashed, drenched and absolutely destroyed to the point you can feel anything but disgust. Of course it offers absolutely no support so fingers just grab your 2lbs log of a meat and you just take a huge bite of mince meat. And naturally it overcooked on the ends or raw in the middle because simply put no one bothers to grill a single rugby sized ball of meat on low and slow heat for hours.

Meatballs =/= burgers.

4chan isn't real life, silly. If you got all your information about other cultures from /ck/ you'd think that Japanese people eat fugu sushi every day, casu martzu is the most popular cheese in Italy, sub-Saharan Africans subsist off of mud cakes, and half the yuro and 'strayan diet consists of kebabs. People post ridiculous shit because it's ridiculous, even though most of it comes from clickbait sites/youtubers, instagram, or tourist trap gimmick places like Heart Attack Grill. (And kebab posting is just poor university students.)

According to /ck/ America only eats smashburgers or "fat" burgers (which is just whatever absurd meatball/over-stacked monstrosity people pretend to bitch about because "hurr, you'd have to unhinge your jaw just to take a bite!" In reality, you could spend a year in the US and eat a burger from a different place every day of the year, and maybe 2% of those burgers would fall into either of those categories. Most places just serve normal burgers, just like most people make normal burgers at home. (I'm not including fast food burgers, because those are their own thing and who cares, and if you asked any American what burgers are like in the US, McDonald's is probably the last thing that's going to come to mind.)

I used to think smash burgers were a dumb meme but it’s the way to go if you’re not cooking on a grill. If a restaurant wants to serve a yuge burger they should stack two smash patties instead of a lump of ground beef that isn’t seasoned all the way through and pink inside.
