For a variety of reasons looking to reduce my meat consumption.
But I find it really hard to get a similar level of taste satisfaction from vegetables as I can from a simple chicken breast.
Why the fuck is meat so much easier to cook and taste so much better than vegetables?
I can slice in half and flatten down a chicken breast and lightly pan fry with olive oil and that alone satiates me, but not a single vegetable can do the same. For vegetables to taste good it requires much more work and more complicated recipes.
Why meat taste so good bros?

The protein making you feel more satisfied helps. Try grilling some aubergine and courgette slices, or roasting broccoli florets. Both things just need oil and salt to be really good.

The only possible good reason for this is because you're running out of money.

I don't think eating meat everyday of the month, every year is probably the best thing to be doing, despite me doing that for years. I want to try and change, but nothing drastic, 90% of the month instead of 100% of the month is what I'm aiming towards.

You could do the hardcore Catholic thing and stop eating meat on Fridays all year long

Slightly over ripe avocado tastes best imo
Also if you scoop it onto a plate and oven grill it for 5 minutes , grind some salt and pepper and it's pretty darn good.

Yea not a bad idea, I don't consider fish a meat, so I could do cod or salmon Fridays.

Roasting broccoli really changes it, the edges char and it becomes concentrated and savoury. I'm not gonna twist your arm but if you do tend to have it around throw a few florets on the side the next time you're baking or roasting something as an experiment.

W H Y? are you poor?

if so than mainly eat a lot of milk-based products like yogurt, you can buy yogurt once and then put it into about $7.50 (in my area) gallon of whole milk. It's not optimal but I like doing it when i don't have raw. As for non dairy products I tend to rely on ground beef.

also, fuck vegetables. I eat like a French peasant from the 1700s with homemade bread, potatoes, red meat with organs, cheese, and eggs. I don't need vegetables at all and anyone who tells you need them doesn't really get why you eat vegetables because they are all outclassed by meat. Take broccoli for example, it's so fibrous that anything you get out of the broccoli is pretty much null and void because your gut will take a longer amount of time to digest it and try to claw what little nutrients are in there. My advice is to stick with things that actually provide some kind of benefit like onions or garlic. Garlic itself has been used as a remedy for disease in history however too much of it can fuck up your gut

Supposedly it does but I haven't seen any real effect whereas when I started basically being carnivore with honey and bread tacked onto my diet I saw way more improvement

>>19094663
You're arguing with shit that has already happened to me, I used to think I needed to eat salads in shit but really all the oxalates and the other protection chemicals really just make vegetables low-tier foods at best and active detriments at worst.

I respect that. My bias is toward carnivore but I definitely think that fasting and veganism have their benefits, when used appropriately, and so within that paradigm a few days a month away from the usual thing is probably good. I might do this myself.
