Yeah Almond Boneless is my shit, that's what I always order when I don't want to get a sugar rush from orange chicken. It's a great fried shell.

It's my mom's favorite dish, it's alright. There's a place on Telegraph downriver that does General Tso's that's pretty good, Hong Kong Inn I think. Dark sauce that's barely sweet, instead of mixing in shitty frozen brocolli they put it on a bed of bean sprouts. Never had it like that before and I really liked it. There used to be a place near Telegraph, between Joy Road and Michigan Ave that was amazing but they changed a couple years ago, now they do Chinese and Thai and it's ok I guess. It was in a strip mall and had a painted red steel door, I don't think it had any windows. I tried quite a few Chinese and Thai restaurants in the Canton/Wasteland area and they were all mediocre to bad. One of the Chinese restaurants had this little sushi bar set up so I decided to order some to see how bad it was, it wasn't bad bud just weird. I ordered a veggie roll and it had chopped pieces of iceberg lettuce in it. Like 2 and a half inches thick. It didn't taste bad, it didn't taste like much of anything. Split a lo mein and some sweet and sour chicken. I think it was called the Bamboo panda or something. There's a Thai Restaurant near the end of Southfield freeway(Allen Park I think) that's really good. I go out of my way to eat there like 3 times a year.

Its the gravy that makes it almond chicken. It comes anywhere from a light transparent golden color to dark slop. It's all about that yellow/gold liquid gravy for ABC. That's why it's never as good unless I get it from my favorite place
It doesn't even come with almonds from there
