Bacon, onion, and jalapeno sloppa

>> No.19081633

based if the bacon was used modestly
the smokiness can dominate the dish when used in excess

yeah I only used 4 half-strips, too much bacon is nasty

Nice burg, perfect amount of sloppy/solid. If you're not an American then I'm even more impressed you could handle our cuisine so well

thanks anon. is it just me or is this the nicest board? people seem way chiller here than on a shithole like /tv/ or /lit/

I cook it with the onions, and grill the whole affair in butter and mustard

It's the designated alcoholic board so people tend to be really jolly or say really bad words. If you post good sloppa then everyone is going to be in a friendly mood.

Very good. Big but small enough to bite, structurally sound, nothing in excess. This thread caught my eye because I'm about to make burrito meat by cooking hamburger, jalapeños, and onions together. It's a good combo.

Here's the meat in the pan when it was almost done. It's two pounds of 80/20 hamburger, a large white onion, three small jalapeños, lots of chili powder and cumin, salt and pepper, and a little cinnamon. I put it on a tortilla with leftover chili, cheese, and diced jalapeños and onions. Very good.

Looks like a lot of mayo and I probably wouldn't have jalapeno and bacon at the same time. Also I normally only do one patty but that that size seems fine to have two. Did you mix seasoning into your burger patty? I can't tell what it is. Overall good job. 7.5/10

Nah just salt and pepper, and I cooked it on high so it would get a good sear
