when i started drinking it was my go to but once i started getting tired of just getting drunk all day long i started moving on to new options and eventually high abv stopped mattering as much but its still a great option for the cheap pack of 15 for like $11

I bought them damn near every day I was in the states figuring you can't go wrong with that abv for that price, but they were just so nasty I don't think I got drunk off them one time. Every day when we went for beers I would tell myself I'll just get them down me but I was never able to.

this and hurricane really aren't that bad. steelies are tolerable, especially if one is smoking or has some 711 pizza/buffalo chicken rollers (be mad if you want, they're okay) or something else to have with it (as an aside, a local liquor store has a box of small candies explicitly labeled "not for individual sale" 4 x $1 along with 2 madeleines x $1, also great to go along with high gravs; I'd advise not to knock till it's been tested) and this coming from someone who's sampled many hoity toity booze options. For the longest time I was good at drinking frequently and enough volume to enjoy being drunk, but then I started getting angry with other people and just kept drinking untill I would wipe out entire handles of liquor a day. A very nasty situation to be in. Now I'm on break, trying to lose weight and tolerance so I can get by less drinks to spare my wallet and my organs.
