I find Maker's Mark and Knob Creek to be very easy drinking and good for someone not used to drinking spirits straight. Maker's Mark uses wheat instead of rye in its mash, which makes it mellower. Thanks to aging, reposado will be mellower than blanco tequila. Most are aged in oak, so you'll get vanilla and burnt sugar notes. Anejo is aged even longer, so the agave flavors will be even more subdued and you'll get a stronger presence from the wood. If you've only had one tequila, I wouldn't judge the entire category off that one tasting. But if you can't stand any tequila you've tried, you probably won't like reposado or anejo that much more. Stay far away from Mezcal, too.

Fellas I literally can't drink anything but straight liquor anymore. I'm not even an alcoholic since I drink very irregularly but whenever I wanna get fucked up I can only drink stuff straight. No water, no cocktails, just straight in sips. I can't even mix beer anymore because it just tears my stomach up. I don't know why but straight booze does nothing to me the morning after but if I drink like one cocktail or beer in the process I'm sick as a dog. Also helps that I'm a turbo light weight so I don't have to spend so much on booze to get me going.
