Redpill me on dark chocolate, according to the internet if you eat it regularly you can douple your stem cells, and the oldest recorded living woman lived to 122 and she ate two pounds of dark chocolate a week.

Obviously this is going to be low sugar varieties, and honestly I've never been huge on dark chocolate, but what a lot of people swear by is daily hot chocolate for your health.

So, what could I add to it/do you know of any healthy recipes that wouldn't just make it sweeter? And any especially healthy things I could mix into it?

learn to appreciate dark chocolate. Don't approach it as a snack, approach it as a delicacy. If you aren't used to it, let small pieces melt in your mouth and appreciate their savor. Once you're used to it, you'll be able to eat big quantities without being turned off by the bitterness.
I used to hate dark chocolate until I reached my mid twenties where I gave it a serious try, now I find it hard to go back to milk/white chocolate because I feel like the cocoa taste is spoiled by the excess sugar.
also, be aware that some brands use Dutch processed cocoa for their chocolate when the percentage gets too high. For example, Lindt Dutch process their cocoa for their bars that are above 85%. This makes the chocolate less bitter, but ruins the taste a bit imo.

raw cocoa paste and you make a drink with it. it's a source of caffeine

true

Better benefits if you just use raw cacao powder not cocoa. Mix it with water or milk. I just mix mine with hot water, cinnamon and cayenne pepper.

You shouldn't eat more than 100 or 200 gr a week (don't remember which, just stay below 1 bar/ week).
My great aunt loved the 90% and over so I grew up with that too still nothing beats the 70-80 range, now I am at 85 tho (your pic).
I heard they have cadmium or other heavy metals inside them cuz of soil pollution or whatever but treat it like it was sword fish or tuna and you should be fine.
It's great.

Things to watch out for:
>severe anxiety and rapid heartbeat due to excessive caffeine (and other similar compounds) in the chocolate.
>heavy metal contamination
Only buy from sellers that consistently share third party heavy metal test results.

It doesn't mean shit if they claim to do regular testing. YOU WANT THE GOD DAMN RESULTS OF THOSE TESTS.

Dark chocolate is a scam. anything that mentions % is stupid.

I only buy 100% CACAO paste in bulk. it's not dark, it's not 80% or 90%. it IS JUST UNFUCKED WITH STRONG 100% MOTHERFUCKING CHOCOLATE.

when you buy chocolate bars from wholepaycheck you pay way too much for how little they actually give you.

>> No.18971306

just buy progressively darker chocolate, I can't imagine a normie having too much trouble with 70% or something like that.

been eating the 85% varieties since mid Jan. actually really like them and the bitterness keeps me from just mindlessly putting away a load of it in one go
don't have any recipes but i get one bar similar to OP pic and break it up into a load of shards (bout 3-4 per average square) and keep them in a jar in my fridge and just take a bit or two if craving something sweet and it suffices
