I got me some pizza for dinner!

This is called Pacific Northwest Style. Most of the local Mom & Pop places make it like this. My favorite!

1 beer for each slice :D

I got some stout and this "Montucky Cold Snack Lager"... "The official unofficial beer of Montana" LOL I thought I might try it. It's pretty bad... sorta tastes like farts.

PNW style has a very crispy, dense, minimally leavened crust.

Yeah, I hadn’t heard of it until I went to school down there. Mother Bear’s is always a staple but it’s a little overblown, IMO. I’m back in the Indy area and I always liked Donato’s growing up.

PNW style isn't very well known, until fairly recently I didn't know what to call it, and I'm not sure it's a well-used term. You can find it all over the Pacific Northwest, though identifiable by it's crispy, minimally leavened crust and toppings/sauce usually distributed all the way to the edges.

I googled for Seattle and found a couple, although one is in Olympia. This is probably the best representation I found on google image search, to my knowledge... pic related...

I'm not 100% certain about Northlake... it doesn't look bad, though, either way. Some of the photos the crust looks leavened. If it's soft, doughy, or bready in any way it's not PNW style.

Yeah, I would say the outer crust is soft on the inside, like fresh bread, but with a, uh, crusty exterior. The part of the cust where all the toppings sit on is pretty thin. Only a tad thicker than NY style.
>>18954678
That is nothing like what I receive from my vocelli. The crust is pretty brown, not burnt, but beyond "golden". Cheese is way too white and the pepperoni looks barely cooked.

>> No.18954701

>>18954694
I will also add that the outer crust being so thin in one picture, and so large in the other is representative of the place. When the crust is larger, it is not that light in color.
