Just like being forced to vote for people who hate them, their hotdogs and all of their food are also part of this national humiliation ritual. Bluey is a cute cartoon though. From what I understand after some lurking, Australians don't really have that great of a national cuisine, but they do have extremely high quality produce and meat. I would take that over McGoyslop on every corner and Great Value(TM) brand goyslop at the grocery store.

Aussie food from what I can tell just seems like typical anglo food. They have all the old english recipes, plus contemporary influences mediated through anglo/american media.

I've never been but I would bet there is high quality Asian and Indian food in Australia given their proximity to that part of the world. Hopefully they have some good fusion restaurants
