you're probably going to be starving and de-hydrated even if you eat whatever shitty meals the hospital gives you (if you're staying there), so really just pick the nearest fast food place once you leave the hospital and pick something, avoiding overly greasy items or stuff with too much sauce/food type liquid (so no curries). My unironic suggestion would be a simple chicken burger with lettuce and some fries (eg a McChicken rather than beef burger), and see if you can buy a big gatorade.
